You can make a suit look sharp on a mannequin. Keeping it comfortable after eight hours of sitting, walking, driving, and rushing between meetings—that’s the harder part.
That’s really what the MERINO STRETCH series is for. It uses superfine Merino wool, so the cloth still has that soft hand and proper tailored look, but there’s a little stretch worked into it. You won’t see it, and honestly, you shouldn’t. You just notice the jacket moves more easily when you reach forward, and the trousers don’t pull so much when you sit down.
At around 300g, it has enough weight to hang cleanly. The jacket keeps its line, the trousers don’t look flimsy, and the fabric settles back into shape better after a long day.
We usually suggest this one to customers who actually wear their suits a lot—office people, frequent travellers, grooms who’ll be on their feet all day. It still looks like a proper wool suit. It just doesn’t make you work quite so hard to wear it.
